Signal Strength


Inspired by similar puzzles and the question "How small can you make a puzzle of this type while retaining a certain level of difficulty?"
Email your solutions to andy.brown@puzzlemanic.com, there may be a prize for the best set of solutions received! Answer key: for each cell of the longest diagonal starting in the bottom left of each puzzle list the number of the cell that emits the signal crossing it.

Each number represents a mobile telephone mast. Your job is to adjust the signal strength in each direction so that the whole area is covered. Each number represents the total length of straight line signals starting from that number.

    A maximum of 4 possible signal directions: horizontal and vertical (no diagonals).

    Triangular

    Similar to the standard puzzle, with a maximum of 6 possible directions (2 for each triangle edge, none at the corners), but a maximum of only 3 actual lines for each number (1 for each triangle edge). It should be easy!
